The 40V max XGT Brushless 10" Telescoping Pole Saw (GAU02) easily adjusts from 9-ft. to 13-ft. in length to allow the user to reach higher and trim branches with ease. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers the power of a 35cc gas pole saw. The 40V max XGT delivers up to 150 cuts in 4x4 cedar on a single charge of an XGT 4.0Ah battery, allowing the user to cut and trim for longer periods of time.
This Pole Saw has convenience features that include a lateral chain tensioner with a single stud for efficient chain retention and a captured bar nut that is retained in the sprocket cover for easier setup and maintenance. There is also a translucent bar oil tank with a large opening that aids in adding oil and keeping the bar properly lubricated. Additional features include Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT ), which electronically turns off the motor if the rotation of the attachment is suddenly forced to stop.
